You can record to standard SD cards, UHS-II cards, CFast 2.0 cards, or external USB drives, using common file formats such as H.265, ProRes, and Blackmagic RAW. This means it is compatible with all video software and broadcast media management systems. You can even change the lens mount.
Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 has a B4 broadcast lens mount
Includes optics specifically designed to match the camera’s sensor. The B4 lens mount allows you to use modern Ultra HD lenses or more affordable HD lenses. Older HD lenses often have resolutions far exceeding HD, so you’ll achieve great quality at a lower cost! B4 lenses are fantastic because they have a constant focal length, so images remain in focus when you zoom in and out, eliminating the need to constantly adjust the focus while shooting. This allows you to work much faster! You also get full electronic lens control to adjust focus, iris, and zoom using the camera controls or remotely! Additionally, if you want to use alternative lenses, you can change the mount to PL, EF, and more!
